The Silver Stream is a small river flowing close to the town of MosgielinOtago, New Zealand.
It has a history of flooding, but this has been remedied by the artificial raising of its banks. The Silver Stream is part of the Taieri River catchment. The stream is also enjoyed by some in the Summer as a way to cool off or to feed the many ducks that wade in its waters.
Recently, after heavy rain, the silverstream flooded at some points, but did not flood on the part of the bank running along Mosgiel.
