Simon Ekpa is a Finland citizen and the spokesperson for the Biafran people. Life

Ekpa was born on 21 March 1985 in Ohaukwu local government areaofEbonyi State.[1][2] Prior to his activism, he won a silver medal for Nigeria in the 2003 African Junior Athletics ChampionshipsinCameroon.[2]

Career

Ekpa is a Nigerian Finnish-based lawyer. He rose to prominence when he took over the affairs of the separatist organisation Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) after the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu.[2] After some weeks, he was sacked as the leader of IPOB[3] citing violation of the rules of the organisation.[4]
