Spinibarbus denticulatus is a species of cyprinid of the genus Spinibarbus.[1] It inhabits deep pools of streams in Laos, Vietnam and China.[1] The maximum length of unsexed males is 41.5 centimetres (16.3 in), and the average length 8.5 centimetres (3.3 in).[1] Its maximum published weight is 1.0 kilogram (2.2 lb).[1] It is considered harmless to humans[1] and is classified as "least concern" on the IUCN Red List.[2] It is used for human and animal food locally.[2]
