Spinibarbus denticulatus is a species of cyprinid of the subfamily Spinibarbinae.[2] It inhabits deep pools of streams in Laos, Vietnam and China.[2] The maximum published length is 41.5 centimetres (16.3 in), and the average length 8.5 centimetres (3.3 in).[2] Its maximum published weight is 1.0 kilogram (2.2 lb).[2] It is considered harmless to humans[2] and is classified as "least concern" on the IUCN Red List.[1] It is used for human and animal food locally.[1]
