A 'Splice' is an Australian ice cream confectionary consisting of ice cream encased in frozen fruit flavoured ice. A wooden stick is set into the ice cream for ease of consumption. The Splice was developed by [[Streets (ice cream)|Streets]] and is now sold by Unilever under the Streets brand name.

Released in Australia in the 1950s [1] by Streets, the Splice remains a popular ice confectionary. It has inspired imitators - the Bulla Splits for example - and even a cocktail.
