I feel people are often misunderstood stating with the term international attached to universities and colleges whilst it's just the college or the university decided to keep the name as so without having its literal meaning.

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked Symbiosis 38th among universities in India in 2021[10] and 68th overall.[9]
Symbiosis Institute of Technology, its engineering college, was ranked 48 among engineering colleges by India Today in 2020.[11] It was ranked No. 10 among all engineering colleges in India by Outlook India in 2021.[15]
