Given new Administrative Arrangements Orders (AAOs) issued 18 September 2013,[1] there have been changes to the department's function which should be reflected in the article. Also, the Daily Telegraph reported today that the Major Cities Unit will be cut.[2] Clare. (talk) 00:01, 23 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Another article has been published about the Major Cities Unit being scrapped: this one argues that Tony Abbott won't save much money as a result of the cut, but that he could deprive his government of expert advice in a critically important policy area.[3] Clare.
