Name

I believe that it is now called the "Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Cities and Regional Development". src https://www.infrastructure.gov.au/ Bill Bowden (talk)Bill BowdenBill Bowden (talk)

Employee numbers

994 employees? Huh? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 120.155.152.225 (talk) 12:50, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

New Administrative Arrangements Orders (September 2013)

Given new Administrative Arrangements Orders (AAOs) issued 18 September 2013,[1] there have been changes to the department's function which should be reflected in the article. I'm not sure how to do this the best way without just waiting to see. But we could quote the new AAOs if that sound appropriate?

Major Cities Unit

Also, the Daily Telegraph reported today that the Major Cities Unit will be cut.[2] Clare. (talk) 00:01, 23 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Another article has been published about the Major Cities Unit being scrapped: this one argues that Tony Abbott won't save much money as a result of the cut, but that he could deprive his government of expert advice in a critically important policy area.[3] Clare. (talk) 04:05, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

To further develop 'preceding departments with responsibility for infrastructure and/or transport table'... (June 2013)
