As the list intro states, this is a list of notable trumpeters; the standard for notability is the same as for having an article on the person on Wikipedia, so the general requirement for these lists is that the person's article exists - i.e. no redlinks. This would be a more useful list if active dates were given for each trumpeter, or failing that, if it were divided up by either musical period (Baroque; Classical; Romantic, etc.) or at least by century (17thl 18th; 19th; 20th),
