Crème or Creme? Godley and Creme's album covers do not have an accent. Wikipedia's article on Godley & Creme does not have one. It seems odd that a surname would have one. Allmusic has an accent, but I do not trust Allmusic. Mr Creme himself is probably too old to be a trustworthy source. Too old? C'mon, the guy is still in his sixties - young enough I would think to remember how to spell his own family name, unless he suffers from an early onset of Alzheimer's disease or some other form of advanced dementia, of which sources make no mention. Good grief. One possible explanation: if the source of the surname is from French or Gaelic, it could very well have originally contained the Grave accent but usage may have dropped off as the surname became more anglicized. The only semi-reliable place I've seen the accent is on the GG'06 website, where Kevin Godley uses it. As you say, it wasn't on the albums. Anyone want to look up the birth certificate? Lovingboth 19:56, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why be so derisive? The claim is made in the article that Creme is in the studio with Horn etc producing an album as The Producers. The source of that claim is the band's spot on My Space, where they, in their words, explain what they're doing. Perfect source. Perfectly verifiable. Grimhim 00:27, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kevin Godley's wiki page says that he met Lol Creme at Art College in Manchester. Lol's page currently says they met at Art College in Birmingham. Wikipedia really is poor sometimes, that would have been such an easy cross-reference.

I just heard him on BBC World Service Radio, sorry I can't find a link. July 27, 07:55AM GMT? they played music from the Producers.
