Vandalims[edit]

To IP: 66.231.145.61 please don't vandalize by reverting. the site provided is to the article and was provided so that we know exactly what's in the article, i.e., that we don't have someone say that it's a quote when it isn't. --RossF18 (talk) 02:32, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

These strange quotation marks[edit]

These strange quotation marks need to go. They are totally unencyclopedic and the only thing they convey is that the author somehow doubts their content. If we doubt content we should not put it in a BLP. I intend to remove them. If you think I shouldn't, please explain their purpose. Wefa (talk) 23:09, 14 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Quotation marks denote exact phrazing from the source, not that the "author somehow doubts their content." Please refer to the meaning of quotations in the citation manuals. Quotations denote direct cites as opposed to paraphrazing. The other meaning of quotations you're referring to does not apply here per the context of the sentence. I would oppose any removal of citations as their removal would make this less encyclopedic, not more. Now, as far as paraphrazing is concenred, that's another issue. --RossF18 (talk) 16:38, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
But the fact that the exact phrasing is used and attributed denotes that the author distances himself from the content. The only situation where this is appropriate where it is meant to illustrate a third party's opinion - not encyclopedic fact. This is not a scientific article. broadway theatre project[edit]

I'm still learning how to edit a page itself. Can someone help me by including that she is now on the faculty of the Broadway Theatre Project? (broadwaytheatreproject.com is a reference) Neilisyours (talk) 19:47, 1 March 2011 (UTC)neil[reply]

Dating[edit]

I thought Wikipedia biography articles did not list who people were dating? Why does this article? -- 109.78.204.3 (talk) 21:57, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
