::Well, it's fairly common to have alternative or previous names listed at the beginning of the article (you know, like "Xxx (also known as yyy; formerly zzz) is..."). I don't think it needs to have the date and all that; maybe if it just said "'''Mpumalanga''' (formerly the '''Eastern Transvaal''')..." and the details about the date of the change and so on could be elsewhere (or not in the article at all). - [[User:Htonl|htonl]] 20:56, 4 November 2006 (UTC) |
