I think this article should be renamed "Putangirua Pinnacles", "the pinnacles" as a name for this geological feature is more of a colloquialism. Also, if you look at both references given and the book "Reading the rocks: A guide to Geological features of the Wairarapa coast" which has an article about them (which I am looking at now) - they all refer to them as "Putangirua Pinnacles".I've also had a look at the Reed Atlas of NZ and it has them named as the "Putangirua Pinnacles" there also.Kotare11:17, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
