I can't agree. In the french wikipedia there is a Skyrock article concerning the radio, and a "Skyrock Blog" article concerning the website, but now the website have the same name as the radio station. I think it's better to make a "Skyrock (radio station)" article and "Skyrock (website)". Note that the radio is unknown outside of France, which is not the case for the website. Let us just merge them now. They can always be split off again when the article gets larger, perhaps in summary style, for example when it reaches Good Article standard. --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 11:19, 2 April 2008
"With over 10,8 million members, it can be considered the French version of MySpace, LiveJournalorXanga, but with nowhere near the same amount of popularity." If someone checks the publicly available 3rd party rankings, i.e. quantcast or alexa, you'll see that skyrock is way more popular than xanga or livejournal. --Mrcolj (talk) 13:15, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Rename
I'm suggesting to rename this page to "Skyrock (website)" and rename "Skyrock" to "Skyrock radio", making links between them. BohwaZ (talk) 15:43, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Notability and original research banner
I removed the banner. In February, editors added more citations for notability. I identified a couple of sentences phrased as original research, and edited or tagged to deal with them. I removed a sentence which seems to be an unencyclopedic claim, without specific examples of organization, nor citations:
It has also been used in the organization of underground political demonstrations and movements, similar to the 2006 U.S. immigration reform protests.
