The Law was a 1974 Universal Television movie directed by John Badham starring Judd Hirsch as defence attorney Murray Stone with John Beck, Bonnie Franklin and Gary Busey.[1] The same writing team of Joel Oliansky (teleplay), William Sackheim (story) continued with a 1975 TV mini-series of three further hour-long episodes for Hirsch's character:
