Thomas Publishing Company LLC


Founded in 1898 by Harvey Mark Thomas as “Hardware and Kindred Trades,” Thomas Publishing Company LLC is well known among industrial businesses as the longtime publisher of The Thomas Register of American Manufacturers, often called the Big Green Books. Privately owned since its inception, Thomas now produces one of the world's largest online database of industrial product information. This database, located through ThomasNet.com, features more than 650,000 distributors, manufacturers and service companies within 67,000-plus industrial categories. The site is published and maintained by Thomas Industrial Network, one of Thomas’ five business units, and provides product information, company information and computer-aided design (CAD) drawings.
