Mohammed Ali Tayem (born 9 June 1977) is a public figure, politician, member of the Parliament of Jordan, and entrepreneur. He is the CEO and Founder of Entourage Marketing and Events. His public and social activities include support for the Red Crescent, Dubai Cares, Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, and the Dubai Autism Centre.
Mohammed Ali Tayem was born in Amman, Jordan. He attended high school at Al Orouba Schools. In 1999, he graduated from Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
In 1999, he started working with Orange in Amman. From there, he moved to an international hospitality chain, Grand Hyatt, where he worked for 2 years. Later, he joined Xpress Telecom for two years before moving to the UAE. Tayem worked with Etisalat and DAMAC in the UAE.[1]
In 2009, he founded Entourage Marketing and Events, a live communications agency headquartered in Dubai.[2] The agency works with government and private sector entities across the MENA region. Tayem went on to make his agency a part of TGW, an international group with offices in New York, Singapore, and London.[3][4]
In 2011, Mohammed was the architect of the Emiratization program of Abu Dhabi, working closely with SEHA, the health arm of the Abu Dhabi government, to increase the percentage of Emiratis in the healthcare sector.[5][6]
In 2014, Mohammed worked with the government of Egypt and the Ministry of Tourism Egypt to rebuild the tourism sector of Egypt, adversely affected by the 2011 revolution.[7][8]
In 2020, Mohammed launched Eve Virtual, a 3D virtual platform, one of the first in the region,[9] and Wizshops.com, an eCommerce technology provider enabling merchants to take their businesses online.[10]
He actively consults for international brands such as Google, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Discovery Networks, and regional governmental entities such as the Prime Minister’s Office UAE, Crown Prince Office Riyadh, Ministry of Tourism Egypt, Monsh’at KSA, etc.[11]
In the same year, Mohammed Ali Tayem was elected a member of the House of Representatives of the bicameral Parliament of Jordan. He serves in the international relations committee.[12] In 2023, Mohammed Ali Tayem received the title of Top 50 CEO in the Media category in the Middle East.[13]
Over the years, Tayem has been associated with many charitable causes, working with the Red Crescent, Dubai Cares, to name a few. Tayem has pledged support to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund campaign to build hospitals in Palestine and the Dubai Autism Centre.
