For a long timeIonly fixed typos on Wikipedia. Several months agoIstarted getting more into content. I'm currently trying to learn everything I can about various types of editing. This month, I'm participatingina backlog elimination drive with the Guild of Copy Editors, so copy editing, and learning everything in the [[WP:MOS|Manual of Style]], is my focus.Ithink my next focus will be wikification.

Mostly,Icopyedit on Wikipedia. I occasionally participateinthe backlog elimination drives with the Guild of Copy Editors. I've spent a fair bit of time learning the [[WP:MOS|Manual of Style]]. NextIplan to learn more about wikification.

About me

My name is Lianne Lavoie. I was born and still live in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I have a Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) degree with co-op option and a minor in philosophy from the University of Manitoba, and now I'm taking library tech at Red River College. I like blogging, learning languages, dancing, playing the piano, and going to Girl Geek Dinners. My favourite tv shows are all the Star Trek series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Charmed, The Office, The Big Bang Theory, Flight of the Conchords, and Firefly. I'm a passionate environmentalist, and I travel by bicycle. I love everything from the 90s, except grunge music.

Mostly, I copyedit on Wikipedia. I occasionally participate in the backlog elimination drives with the Guild of Copy Editors. I've spent a fair bit of time learning the Manual of Style. Next I plan to learn more about wikification.
