As much as I want to WP:AGF, I don't think I can for an account that has been editing for a little over 2 weeks and now asking for my details for a t-shirt. Shall I include my PIN and mother's maiden name on the email too? LugnutsDick Laurent is dead08:16, 4 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
As technically that t-shirt is now mine, I'd prefer you give to your local homeless charity (or equivalent good cause). Please post a pic of you donating it along with a sign saying "Lugnuts' t-shirt, donated by request". Thanks. LugnutsDick Laurent is dead08:40, 25 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
HiLugnuts, Thank you for your generous suggestion! We can send the shirt to you so you can see it goes to the charity of your choice. If you would like to proceed in that direction, please complete the online form that was sent to you. The other options are to either simply decline your free gift or you can nominate other user. Please let me know how you'd like to proceed. Thanks very much! --JMatthews (WMF) (talk) 07:14, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
... replying to your post on my Talk earlier this morning ...
Good morning J Matthews, I am writing in reply to your post on my Talk earlier this morning [1]—I did not receive the message that you refer to as, "We last contacted you on 3/11/14." Yes please! I should like to receive my gift—what do you want me to do now? — | Gareth Griffith-Jones |The WelshBuzzard| —09:33, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
HiGareth Griffith-Jones, I'm so sorry you didn't receive the email I sent you on 3/11/14. Could you email me at jmatthewswikimedia.org? That way I'll know I have your correct email address to reply back to and I will then forward you the original email, which contains all the info you'll need to order your free t-shirt for being awesome!! :) Thanks! --JMatthews (WMF) (talk) 17:48, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
HiHughesdarren, Yes, please email me at jmatthews@wikimedia.org. As mentioned to the other user above, I will forward you the original email, which contains all the info you'll need to order your free t-shirt! Thanks!! :)
The gift offer
Thank you, Juli, for your nice email and note about the offer of a t-shirt as a gift from fellow Wikipedians. Please understand that I don't want one.
I said already in the nomination: "Please: I don't want a t-shirt. I don't want a discussion here ;) - All I want is that editors are treated like human beings."
They are not. Just look at the top of the list, Jack Merridew. He left and then was banned, I put a red category on my user page. Many more who's collaboration I enjoyed left. No t-shirt please, all I want is that editors are treated like human beings.
Hi Juli. You may want to consider not using American date formats when you send messages to people. For example, to people such as myself, 3/29/14 makes me scratch my head and it takes conscious effort for me to parse the date into a format I understand. You could instead write 2014-03-29 (compliant with ISO 8601), or simply write March 29, 2014 which, while still being an American date format, does not require nearly as much effort for non-Americans to understand as 3/29/14. Just something for you to consider. Thanks! --Dan Garry, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 05:04, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Shirt
Hi,
I'm not really a wikipedian anymore, my contributions are flat. But I'd still happily claim a free t-shirt! Could you contact me via e-mail? Thanks, WLU(t)(c) Wikipedia's rules:simple/complex17:40, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@WLU: Hi WLU, you were nominated on December 6, 2012, so I'm certain that you were probably quite active then, but it's taken us some time to get through the list of nominations. All that to say, you are more than welcome to claim your gift with our many thanks! :) To accept your free shirt, we’ll need you to submit some information (shirt size, email address, and shipping details) through our online store using this special form:

Decline Shirt
Thanks a million for the offer, feel moved by it, but will politely decline. Also, profit from the opportunity to say i'll be leaving WP for good on 12 July 2014 (end of the 2014 FIFA World Cup is the date i chose), after eight years it's not as fun as it was, sometimes it feels more like a chore, but overall of course it was a great experience! Best wishes, happy work (wiki or not) from Portugal --AL (talk) 15:39, 17 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Always Learning: Thank you for your response! I have noted that you have chosen to decline your free shirt. Thank you for your years of hard work! We really appreciate your efforts and wish you the best in your future endeavors. --JMatthews (WMF) (talk) 01:24, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for thinking of me. Apparently, you'll keep pinging me until I refuse, so allow me to do so here. I'm sure WMF can find a good use for the funds. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:01, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@BlueMoonset: Thanks for your reply! I apologize if I was a bother. We just want to be sure that we've done everything we can to give you the opportunity to claim your free shirt. I will indicate your declination on the Nominations page. Thanks again! --JMatthews (WMF) (talk) 02:19, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Have you send my Tshirt? Could you check the status, if possible? Please note, for Indian editors, please ask mobile numbers too. Couriers in India sometimes fail to find address or mark couriers as "incomplete address" if phone number is not given. I forgot to mention it for my courier. Tito☸Dutta18:09, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Titodutta: Thanks for the follow-up. Yes, your order was shipped on APR 9, 2014. The USPS tracking status hasn't changed since April 11, 2014, which I'm finding to be more and more common with USPS tracking, unfortunately. Have you received your shirt yet? Please let me know. If not, I will look into it more. Thank you! --JMatthews (WMF) (talk) 04:10, 13 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Titodutta: I apologize for the delay. I've contacted our fulfillment company and am having them re-ship your order. Per your suggestion, I'll ask if it's possible to add your mobile number to the shipping label. Could you please send me your mobile number via my email address: jmatthews@wikimedia.org? Thanks! --JMatthews (WMF) (talk) 04:22, 10 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Titodutta: Hi Titodutta, I would like to be sure that you receive your free t-shirt, but I need your mobile number to include on the shipping label. Could you please send me your mobile number via my email address: jmatthews@wikimedia.org? Thank you! --JMatthews (WMF) (talk) 04:35, 8 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the offer. I think it would be unwise to post it to South Africa at this time as our postal service has come to a virtual standstill due to ongoing strikes. I don't know if I can take a rain check until the situation improves, if not I think it a waste to send it to a black hole. HelenOnline05:36, 21 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@HelenOnline: I apologize for the delay in my response! You can most certainly take a rain check. Whenever you feel it's a good time to send your shirt, just email me (jmatthews@wikimedia.org) and I will be sure we ship your shirt right away. Thank you! --JMatthews (WMF) (talk) 04:53, 4 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
