Hi,
Considering that you began an RfC on the use of Tifinagh on the Algeria article, there's been quite a debate on whether or not Tifinagh should be removed from Morocco-related articles, which led to an RfC. Since you seem like a neutral third-party, it would be nice to have some feedback.
Thank you! NAADAAN (talk) 18:00, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
So, the settings used by the archival bot on the DRN page are clearly overzealous, as it had somehow already archived our ongoing DRN! Can you please do something about that? InformationToKnowledge (talk) 09:29, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You recently offered a statement in a request for arbitration. The Arbitration Committee has accepted that request for arbitration and an arbitration case has been opened at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Venezuelan politics. Evidence that you wish the arbitrators to consider should be added to the evidence subpage, at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Venezuelan politics/Evidence. Please add your evidence by April 20, 2024, which is when the evidence phase closes. You can also contribute to the case workshop subpage, Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Venezuelan politics/Workshop. For a guide to the arbitration process, see Wikipedia:Arbitration/Guide to arbitration. For the Arbitration Committee, Dreamy Jazz talk to me | my contributions 23:37, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You've rightfully heard thanks to this end before, but the fact remains you're just about the closest individual Wikipedia has to a guardian angel—in a concrete sense and not a supernatural one, mind—with how you try diligently to prevent humans from hurting themselves and others through quiet patience. Very concretely, I am glad there are people like you around to help keep the site together, and while I have some patience sometimes, I know for certain that I don't have what you have. I do hope you're taking care of yourself, though. Thanks for the hard work.

Hi there. Thanks for your comment on Draft:Ronnie Archer-Morgan. I know it's not actually about the article itself, but if you had a moment to read it at the time, is there anything you thought could improve it or make it more likely to pass AfC? If so, please may you tell me, or just edit it yourself.
Thanks, JacobTheRox (talk) 09:10, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, You recently rated Ronnie Archer-Morgan as C-Class, but I thought it looked more like a B-Class article. However, I am probably biased seeing as I wrote it. Which of the B-Class criteria does it fail to meet, so I can work on improving it? Thanks, JacobTheRox (talk) 09:00, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Robert McClenon: Hello, the RFC at Talk:Russo-Ukrainian War#RFC on Listing of Belarus was started by you on 16 March 2024 and as of now was active for more than a month (nearly 1,5 month to be exact). I think a month is enough for every interested user to express their opinion and to vote at RFC. Since the issue for which the RFC was started previously resulted in quite strong disagreements between multiple users, I think the RFC should be closed by you to ensure a valid WP:CONS due to your status as a moderator at Dispute resolution noticeboard who started this RFC following a discussion at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard/Archive 242#Russo-Ukrainian War. Perhaps it is already time to close this RFC now? If not, then what exact other deadline you think is suitable to close this RFC? -- Pofka (talk) 18:24, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I moved an article titled Tamar of ImeretitoTamar of Imereti (died 1556), and the declined draft with the former title to Draft:Tamar of Imereti (died 1455), while the original title became a disambiguation page. I hope that you manage to accept the new title of the draft and approve the submission to link related articles to the new titles. Cheers! Xxx2023 (talk) 19:59, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.
The article has been assessed as Stub-Class, which is recorded on its talk page. It is commonplace for new articles to start out as stubs and then attain higher grades as they develop over time. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.
If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the help desk. Once you have made at least 10 edits and had an account for at least four days, you will have the option to create articles yourself without posting a request to Articles for creation.
If you would like to help us improve this process, please consider leaving us some feedback.
Thanks again, and happy editing!

Hi! First, thanks for your patience with this case. I really appreciate your help. Second, I wonder if your decision to close the dispute can be appealed. I already admitted that my lengthy statement was an honest mistake; please see the addendum to my list statement. I simply missed the last paragraph of your statement that required us to comment only on the RFC. To close the case is perhaps an overreaction, even though you have every right to do so. With the moderated discussion now closed, I fear that Shadowwarrior8 has successfully bullied their way in this issue, removing and falsifying content with impunity. Should I open a new dispute? If not, where would it be possible to find justice in this case? Thank you for your advice. Albertatiran (talk) 06:41, 20 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
where would it be possible to find justice in this case?Wikipedia isn't about finding justice, but about building an encyclopedia. If you think that the conduct of Shadowwarrior8 is interfering with building the encyclopedia, you can report SW at WP:ANI after reading the boomerang essay. If you want to involve other editors who might have some knowledge and a different perspective, on the other hand, I would suggest that you ask for other editors at WikiProject Islam. (Some of them might actually be either Shi'a Muslims or Sunni Muslims.) Robert McClenon (talk) 20:26, 20 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your help. How would you recommend I proceed? You said to discuss changes on the talk page but given the earlier response and previous behaviour that is almost certainly not going to achieve anything. Would an RfC be the best option like you mentioned in that case? I've read through the page on RfCs and the only thing I'm unsure about is categories, would the category be 'animals' (which doesn't exist) because it's a breed of dog, or would it be something like 'regional' given it's about origin/nationality (loosely). I will add more information to the Vahika section based on your comments however it’s separate to the Bahlika wiki which you stated the information could have been merged with as Bahlika referred to Bactria whereas Vahika referred to central Punjab with a total different history and so for that reason I don’t think it should have been rejected. Hi @Robert McClenon. I’m responding to a comment you made on Draft:Recurring Saturday Night Live characters and sketches introduced 1995–96. I’m a bit confused. Was the comment supposed to include suggestions on how to improve the draft? Because I don’t see any. Does it just mean it’s still waiting for a review? Thanks. Just a note to say that the way you signed this RfC was highly unusual and out of the ordinary, making it look like you were responding neutrally to a "no" vote left unsigned by another editor. Not sure if you intended it to look that way, but normal, best practice is to sign immediately after your vote, not on a separate line and comment. Viriditas (talk) 03:09, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
