"Taiwan" is the common name for the current Republic of China on the island of Taiwan, not when the ROC government occupied the mainland from 1912 to 1949. WP:COMMONNAME does not apply retroactively to all mentions of the ROC before its government fled to Taiwan.undoTag: Reverted

He is a living person, the most part of his lifespan is during ROC is commonly known as Taiwan in English. Under a unified Wikipedia writing style, it would be POV to refer one a Taiwanese whenever he is good and a Chinese whenever he is bad according to western value.undoTag: Undo
