Given the IPs have only edited Wikipedia to add this one piece of misinformation [1] [2] [3] [4] and have disregarded the article which gives a proper explanation as to the origin I believe it's vandalism from one person using either proxies or just a dynamic IP address. Reason: As soon as protection expires, anonymous IP edits adding un- or poorly-sourced material is added (probably by the subject) so the page goes back to looking like a resume.
