Abdalwadid is the name of a Berber Zenata [1] dynasty in North Africa. The Abdalwadid kingdom with capital at Tlemcen, in what is now Algeria, existed from 1235 to 1556. They were also called Zayyanid, Ziyyanid or Zianid (Arabic: زيانيون), so Zianides, Ziyyanides or Banu Zayan.
