Summary

Description
English: At the top, the visualization shows the number of people involved in trafficking in human beings in Europe by legal status (identified by the relevant formal authority), from 2008 to 2021, dividing the share of women and men among victims and traffickers.

In comparison, at the bottom, it shows the main forms of exploitation of recorded victims each year, in which we can see that the predominant is sexual exploitation, which would explain the amount of female victims.

Original graphs created using Rawgraph, then edited by own user.
