The magazine primarily features writings on music as well as interviews with a wide range of notable artists and musicians.[2] graphic novels and poetry .
Previously known as Folk Radio UK, they changed their name to KLOF Magazine on 10th February 2024.[3]
Their coverage is described as eclectic and non-mainstream and includes Folk music , jazz , Psychedelic music , world music , alternative, Experimental Music and avant-garde . [4]
Alongside interviews, the magazine also invites musicians to write guest articles, this includes a popular series called Off the Shelf, in which artists photograph and present objects from their homes and talk about them.[5]
Alex Gallacher, currently based in Somerset ,[6] Robin Denselow and Colin Irwin (journalist) , as well as former writers for Melody Maker and Record Collector .
KLOF Magazine supplements its written content with audio features - mixtapes, shows, and playlists, including a weekly rolling playlist called the Monday Morning Brew.

A specialist folk music channel was launched on Deezer in 2012 which was curated by KLOF Magazine' s editor.[7] [8]
