The ambassador of the United Kingdom to Egypt is the United Kingdom's foremost diplomatic representativeinEgypt, and head of the UK's diplomatic mission in Egypt. The official title is His Britannic Majesty's Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Under the British occupation of Egypt (1882–1956), the British consul-general, high commissioner, or ambassador effectively ruled Egypt.[1]
