NoCamels, officially NoCamels - Israel Innovation News, is an Israeli online news and magazine. NoCamels focus on Israeli innovation and technology. The magazine routinly publishes articles on Israeli startups, scientific breakthroughs and more.

Online website[edit]

NoCamels routinely publishes stories and publications on Israeli startups and Israeli High Tech. Israel has the highest number of startups per capita in the world.[1] It also has a Science section in which it publishes articles related to scientific developments within Israel as well as relevant science items to Israel.[1] The website focuses mainly on Israeli innovation.[2] It has been described as the premier news website for Israeli technology.[3][1] The website was founded in 2010.[4]

Some of its articles have been republished by Newspapers such as the Times of Israel as well as university associations such as the American Technion association, the UK Technion Society and Northwestern University.[5][6][7][8][9] A Japanese language website called IsraelMedTechPost also republishes articles.[10]

NoCamels is sponsored by the Asper Foundation, the Patrick & Lina Drahi Foundation and by Reichman University. It is based in the Samy Ofer school of communications in Reichman University. [11]

Journalism[edit]

NoCamels' journalists are a mix of professional journalists and student journalists. The newspaper is managed by the professional journalists who instruct the student journalists as part of the year long course in the Samy Ofer communications school in Reichman University.[12]
