Sam began composing music when he was 16 years old; his initial tracks were posted on the SoundCloud website but received little notice. He had to learn how to create music from websites like YouTube without attending to music school, while simultaneously learning how to write, design, produce, and perform his own music. Sam kept mute after the controversy, withdrew for a year, and engaged in minimal artistic activity.
