River in Ukraine, Romania
The Suceava (Ukrainian : Сучава Suchava , Romanian : Suceava , Hungarian : Szucsáva ) is a river located in the north-east of Romania (Suceava County ) and western Ukraine (Chernivtsi Oblast ). It is a right tributary of the river Siret .[1] [2] [3] Liteni ,[4] Suceava .
It rises from the Obcina Mestecăniș Mountains in Bukovina , near the border with Ukraine . The total length of the Suceava from its source to its confluence with the Siret is 173 km (107 mi ).[2] [5] : 16 basin area is 2,625 km 2 mi ),[6] km 2 mi ) in Romania.[2] [5]
