Location of Ulu Bedok in Singapore

Ulu Bedok Constituency was a constituency in Singapore that existed from 1955 to 1959.

The constituency was formed in 1955, covering the areas of Bedok, Kembangan and Geylang Serai. The word uluinMalay means remote as the eastern region of Singapore was undeveloped at that time. In 1959, the constituency was abolished.

Note : Elections Department Singapore do not include rejected votes for calculation of candidate's vote share. Hence, the total of all candidates' vote share will be 100%.

Note : UMNO, MCA and MIC together with Singapore People's Alliance informally formed an alliance, Singapore Alliance (SA), for the elections. While Abdul Hamid contested as a UMNO candidate, the Elections Department Singapore views Abdul Hamid as a candidate for SA.
