Newton's Coat of Arms

[edit]

Hi Einfall, I think that the only question is, does it add to the article? I'm a little unconvinced personally. I replied on the talk page because other editors seemed to think that you had added it as some sort of joke. I think it is more interesting that he was the first scientist to be knighted. If I could find a source that confirmed that he was knighted purely for his scientific achievement, rather that for say his work in fighting forgery, then I would add it to the article.

If you think that his coat-of-arms should be in the article, the best thing would be to raise it on the talk page as a new section. Whatever happens, have fun. Mikenorton (talk) 21:59, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Name change

[edit]

Thanks for contacting me. As I'm not sure if I'm it's policy to do name changes without a listing at Changing username, please list your request at Wikipedia:Changing username. I don't see any further problem with your request, and will then be happy to expedite or take care of it. Cheers, -- Infrogmation (talk) 03:40, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, I told you to list your request in the wrong place. (I didn't know there is now a different page for Single Unified Login related user rename requests). Please list yourself again at Wikipedia:Changing_username/SUL#Simple_rename. I hope that will be the last thing you need to take do, then we'll change the user name. -- Infrogmation (talk) 22:43, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's done now. Cheers, -- Infrogmation (talk) 00:56, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:US Chula-Vista logo.svg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:US Chula-Vista logo.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk 03:58, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed the image history on the commons image (the one that replaced the one that you uploaded) to show the proper 'lineage' of the image File:Seal of Chula Vista, California.svg - "history" section added. Skier Dude (talk 03:24, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
