Twitterで隠しコマンドの代名詞﹁コナミコマンド﹂が使用できると話題になっています。

最初の発見者が誰かは不明ですが、のすけさん︵@konosuke︶のツイートにより、この盛り上がりが生まれたことは確かのようです。
TwitterのJSのソース見るとkonami_watcherとかいうのがあるな・・・。38,38,40,40,37,39,37,39,66,65 って、上上下下左右左右BA？何に使われてるんだろう・・・。

それによると、TwitterのJS︵JavaScript︶ソースに﹁konami_watcher﹂なる表記があるとのこと。実際に見てると、確かにその表記が見つかりました。

ここに書かれている﹁38,38,40,40,37,39,37,39,66,65﹂は、キーコードとなっており、16進で﹁上,上,下,下,左,右,左,右,B,A﹂という意味。つまり、﹁コナミコマンド﹂という訳です。誰が何のために実装したかは不明ですが、PC版のタイムライン上でこれを入力(方向は矢印キーで)すると、Twitterのマークがが一回転するという謎のギミックが発動。たいして意味はないようですが、なかなか面白い発見です。

なお、Twitter以外に物件検索アプリ﹁SUUMO﹂でも、﹁コナミコマンド﹂である事が起きますので、まだまだ﹁コナミコマンド﹂が実装されているサービスは潜んでいそうです。
