New Heritage Centre March 29th, 2014
Opening of the Great Hall, King Robert the Bruce Heritage Centre, Renton
There was a delay in the new Heritage Centre due to a change of premises, which turned out to be for the best. On November 11th 2013 the Strathleven Artizans commenced
the conversion of our new premises for a bigger and better King Robert
the Bruce Heritage Centre. We use new type dehumidifiers to keep our expo in good shape. The original Heritage Centre is still open to visitors.
We welcome all voluntary support from all
friends of the Heritage Centre around the world

Welcome to the Robert the Bruce Heritage Centre
The Robert the Bruce Heritage Centre is run by a group of dedicated volunteers and historians, 'the Strathleven Artizans' who are based in the village of Renton near the ancient capital of Strathclyde in Dumbarton, on the historical site of the King's manor house, where he spent the last years of his life.
Our soul aim is to inform society of the 'Royal Connection' and rich medieval history soaked in the surrounding areas.
In spreading the word of Scotland's greatest King, we visit schools all over the country, letting the children appreciate our knowledge and hands-on approach in learning something of their own heritage and past.
We strive to builing in the future, a replica of the 'Royal manor house,' opening it to the public as a first class visitor centre and a historical hub of local information.
Welcome to our page and visitors centre, please feel free in contacting us for a chat or school visit in your area.
