How to make a request
Note
If you request the rollback-right, please read the how-to first. Admins and anyone with global rollback don't need to request rollback. License reviewers don't have to request the patrol flag. |
|
Autoconfirmed users don't have to request this flag. To see if you are autoconfirmed, please see your preferences. |
As a rough guideline, administrators usually require editors to have made more than 500 useful non-botlike edits, and to have been active in the last thirty days. Patrollers and License reviewers don't have to request this flag. Find possible candidates. |
autopatrol
right, mainly for editing map images. I believe I have a good track record of map image edits and uploads. (One example is the United States abortion laws map, which I have made many helpful edits to in order to reflect changing laws and court rulings in the country.) If given this right, I will use it to continue to make helpful edits mainly to map images as I believe I have done in the past. Thank you. President Loki (talk) 09:30, 30 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have over 4.500 uploads (over 11.000 edits) in Wikimedia where I registered from November 2014 (in Wikipedia from 2008). I work with images having registered license from different photographs from volunteer Memorial community. I would like to have the autopatrolled rights to upload but mostly in order to overwrite old files with minor changes, such as lightening a picture, editing values, or a slight crop. I would appreciate being granted Autopatrol rights. With 10 years of experience (16 altogether), please consider me as a trustful editor. Thank you. I am maintaining categories for heritage monuments in Azerbaijan. Since Azerbaijan retake control of disputed region called Karabakh, I have to move files from {{Cultural Heritage Armenia}} to Azerbaijan. For example these files should be moved to {{Cultural Heritage Azerbaijan|5749}}

As a rough guideline, administrators usually require editors to have made at least 1,000 useful, non-botlike edits or a large amount of justified renaming requests at Commons before they will consider granting the filemover right. |
Only bureaucrats can grant these rights, so please request them on the bureaucrats' noticeboard. |
