Trump's goal here along with the tariffs is to create a national sales tax so that he can eliminate his tax burden and the tax burden of his buddies. As a percentage is still much much much less than you pay but because they have about 60% of all the money in America it's still a pretty big number and they wanted for themselves.
Because he's just too fucking incompetent. He wouldn't have known how to gather the people with the skill set needed to do it and how to get the fuck out of their way to let them do it.
As for why he fucked it up it was a combination of greed and incompetence. The incompetence I'm sure you know about there isn't anyone on earth who doesn't know Trump is an idiot. But people just love him so fucking much they don't care.
You will notice that it didn't shut the entire US economy and global economy down like COVID under Trump did. And H1N1 was way way worse than COVID. Much higher incidence of fatalities.
There's a dozen other techniques they use. It's a massive large-scale project the Republican party undertook and has been doing for some time. They also got a whole bunch of voter ID laws through that result in people either being turned away when they try to vote or slowing down the voter process.
The point is it didn't matter who they ran. What mattered was the Democrats didn't fight voter suppression so it didn't matter which candidate they ran because that candidate couldn't surmount a 17 million vote loss.
The Senate is tough because it's specifically designed to benefit the right wing. Heck you don't have to go that far back in history to find when it was appointed.
Just allows us to pretend the Republican parties and preventing us from voting in the first place.
He manipulated the election with the help of AI and gerrymandering maps preventing 17 millions democrat voters to vote. Somebody ran the numbers to figure out how much voters suppression there was. In 2024 17 million democrat people tried to vote and couldn't.
The Democrats could run Jesus fucking Christ and it wouldn't do any good if the Republicans just stop 17 million people from voting.. it literally doesn't matter how good a candidate they run. It doesn't matter what tricks they use or how they run the campaign or any of that. Nobody is going to surmount a 17 million loss of voters.

They have a 300-page document called project 2025 with multiple pages about it. It's a government purge. They're using it to consolidate their power. It's part of a broader takeover of our entire culture and civilization. Next comes the theocracy.

The heritage foundation are the ones behind project 2025. Before project 2025 they had a long-term plan to pack the courts with partisan judges who would rule in favor of corporations and corporate interests every single time. That plan took almost 50 years but it's paid off spectacularly. You can't even really talk about climate change as a real thing anymore without being ripped to pieces and if you try to fight back our court system is so compromised You're just fucked.

All this is because of project 2025 policies. And we have Elon Musk on record days before the election saying exactly that. That he was going to cause a massive recession. If you think it's not going to affect you you're wrong. Their current budget goes right after Medicare and social security. Because that's the only way they can get the money they want for the tax cuts they want.

Whenever you talk to people about Trump's policies and sit them down and make them understand them they are appalled. Now that the election is over Republicans are openly talking about project 2025 and their plan to implement it. It polls at about 7%. Even Republicans hate it.

The Republican party has project 2025 and agenda 47 which are detailed plans to pack the government and the courts with their yes men. Once they do that they will consolidate power and use that power to prevent voting so that they can never lose another election. Just like they do in Russia.

Trump has plans, specifically project 2025. It's just none of his plans are good so he can't talk about them. His plan is to slash taxes on the ultra wealthy replaced him with tariffs that you and I are going to pay and then take away our medical care to balance the books. He can't actually campaign on that. That's what's going to stop you. The judges are going to side with whoever has the most money and that's not you. The courts have been packed with corrupt pro corporate judges. This was part of a 50-year plan spearheaded by the heritage foundation culminating in the supreme Court being taken over and project 2025.
