La Journée mondiale contre les DRM c'est l'occasion de réunir ou de rejoindre un large éventail de projets, dans le but de sensibiliser le public, organisations d'intérêt publiques, individus et sites Web, sur les dangers que représente cette technologie qui oblige les utilisateurs à abandonner le contrôle de leurs ordinateurs et restreint l'accès à des données numériques et des médias. Cette année nous allons aider les groupes et les individus à travailler ensemble pour créer des actions communes locales – Les actions peuvent se décliner en protestations contre un fournisseur de matériel hostile à la distribution de tracts d'information, en distribuant des dépliants dans les Bibliothèques ou les médiathèques publiques locales !
