This is nonsense. Nobody with any sense is developing their own solutions for everything, because someone else has already done it — unless it's so simple that someone else competent could just write essentially the same script. I write tons of short scripts, but I don't think any of them are magic, they're just time savers because I will do the same things again later. Then maybe they become the basis of some automation later.
