The ext2 support in the NetBSD kernel is there for a reason - sharing
files with Linux is exactly the intended use case. It's just that Linux
has extended their file system in the meantime, so it's a better idea
to create it from NetBSD.

Oh, I did the opposite :-(. Befo
re doing something serious in the  filesystem, I am going to copy a bunch of files and see how it works as  is now.
