Perhaps it would have been better to create it on NetBSD but so far it hasn't been much of an issue outside of the forementioned rsync thing. As also mentioned, mine is a lightly used system so perhaps insabilities would appear under heavier loads. Absolutely would recommend creating a test platform which mimics your intended use, especially if important files are involved. Ultimately you would probably be better off with a NAS setup or shared "cloud" storage, the latter fairly inexpensive these days. beaker
