Biography


Nicole is a news correspondent for Sky News.

She has reported from Beijing, covering China, and from Sydney.

She has also covered stories in Sri Lanka and the Israel-Gaza war.

Prior to her work at Sky News, Nicole reported from the Middle East for more than a decade, mostly with Al Jazeera English. She has lived in Doha-Qatar, Gaza, Jerusalem, Cairo, Islamabad and Istanbul, and reported from more than 30 countries.

She covered the 2012 and 2014 wars in Gaza, Egypt’s military coup and the wars against ISIS in Iraq and Libya.

After the Middle East, Nicole moved to the US covering Donald Trump's midterm election and the migrant caravan crisis in Mexico.

She spent the COVID years in London reporting on British politics and the pandemic.

Nicole studied a master's degree in Middle East Studies at SOAS, University of London, and is originally from from Australia, where she started her career at ABC.
