Biography


Philip is a chief sub-editor at Sky News.

He was previously a news reporter, covering a range of national and international news stories, with a focus on explaining worldwide issues. He has been at Sky News since 2013. 

Before joining Sky, he worked for Fleet Street newspapers for nearly a decade, where he spent time as a roving foreign correspondent, covering wars in Afghanistan, Israel/Gaza and Georgia, revolutions in Egypt and Tunisia and disasters in Haiti, Japan and Pakistan. 

He has travelled to more than 70 countries and has worked as an editorial consultant in Romania. 

In 2018, Phil contributed to the Murdertown series of documentaries for the Crime+Investigation network.
