Sadly, in this day and age this is the standard of support that is expected. Our company pays quite substantial support fees for a certain software tool and all we get is forum access.

Is there anything else except running and gunning? Is there a plot?
From all the videos I have seen, it is so repetitive. You seem to just run into coffee shops, effortlessly gun down civilians, cops spawn, you shoot them, repeat.
I would be bored after about 20 minutes of this. That is the length of time before violence just stops being special. It's like takedown animations in games: At first they are sublime, but after seeing them three times it just becomes annoying delays in the gameplay. Like quicktime events.

Because Slashdot will support unicode at the precisely the same time as Linux will take over desktop: Never.

"that ugly and slow box"
Nothing in the field of technology can make something pretty for everyone. For it is so damn subjective.
However in my experience SSD made desktops substantially faster. Like day and night fast. Give that slow box 4 extra gigs of RAM and an SSD and their only complaint will be that it is ugly.

That's not a link:
https://itvision.altervista.org/why.linux.is.not.ready.for.the.desktop.current.html
Now THAT'S a link!
Now pay attention kiddies, for this is why Linux is not on desktop yet. If you want someone to pay attention to you: Make it easier for THEM rather than yourself!

All it takes is a charismatic asshole yelling "follow me!"
You are correct. Charisma is the key.
However, if an asshole got charisma then he has no issues finding a job and getting promoted through the ranks. It is all about who you know and networking after all.
When charismatic are rich, who will lead the poor?

It is easy to compute the total cost of ownership for a missile.
How do you even start calculating TCO of a woman? :-)

Attached to: I think my current job will be replaced by a robot/software:
The jobs you will eliminate are by their nature mundane and potentially dangerous. Yes, there will be higher unemployment, but only for a time.
Technology has been replacing since as far back as we have the written record. Civilization will go on and there will always be jobs. Yes, some workers will be too old or unwilling to change. But that is what we have welfare for and this is why people have children.
Please don't lose sleep over your job. You are freeing up the human talent to focus on pursuits beyond the efforts you are automating away.
