The we can change the law to give the car a "moving parking ticket" in these cases. Get enough of them like parking tickets, and your car gets impounded.

I would be interested to hear about what exactly they did.
Were they just gaming the tests, or reporting bad data?

I'd been interested to see how much of that spike can be attributed to Citibikes being available to those that don't normally ride bikes in the city.

ugen writes: Something I discovered today, while trying to change a MAC address on a new Macbook Air (as I did for years on other Macbooks): ifconfig en0 ether "new mac" no longer works. It appears that this is a change made sometime last year, applicable to all Apple newer Macbooks. Implications of permanently fixed MAC address on privacy and security are hard to underestimate. Given that Windows now supports complete Wifi MAC address randomization — I am sad to admit that Microsoft looks like a champion of privacy here. What are your thoughts? Solutions anyone knows of (I'll take a reasonable technical hack).
Here are a few mentions of this elsewhere:

ShoulderOfOrion writes: A pilot and former Microsoft employee who worked on the old Flight Simulator, and now works as an editor for the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association), recently got a first peek at the new Flight Simulator program Microsoft is looking to launch in 2020. Petabytes of scenery with details down to 3 cm per pixel, a new lighting engine for landscape and clouds (even rainbows), and a much more realistic flight model are among the many new features.
