Canadian here.
We told Meta they need to pay media outlets if they're using their content on Facebook, etc..
So what happened?
They banned all Canadian news outlets.
So you can't post any links to Canadian media, eg CBC.
Australia did the same thing, but Meta decided to pay there.
Odds are that if we tried what Cory's suggesting, they'd just stop selling here. (Not that a number of people are already actively boycotting US products and looking at companies from other countries. #ElbowsUp)
California can do stuff like this, and other larger nations, but I think when Canada tries this, most bigger corps are 'so what' and just drop Canada as a market.
Didn't RTFA so maybe he addresses this, but this is what comes to mind for me.

Oh yes, some people get 90 calories from a piece of bread, while others get 100, or even 110, and then some get 95734903949 calories.

You do understand how it works?
It curbs the desire to overeat.
So people on ozempic eat what they need, and that's it.
And that's why it works. Generally the ONLY reason people are overweight is because they're overeating.
There's lots of BS and nonsense about other factors, but despite the dopes saying otherwise, it's thermodynamics. Calories in vs calories out.
So when people stop overeating, they lose weight. The drug basically replaces willpower.
The relative kicker here is that people eating less food spend less on food.
But that leaves me wondering: are *you* really that stupid?

I was similarly shocked at what people are asking.. Saw a thread on Reddit about using alternative email services, and one was charging something similar, about $10/mo Canadian per email account, and had relatively low storage.
And no direct interface - you had to have your own POP3 or IMAP client.
Google is also supposed to have shut down their POP3 downloading from other accounts via Gmail, but so far it's still operating (I use a few accounts for this.)
The really odd thing is it costs pretty much nothing with other hosting plans. I'm paying around $8/mo on shared hosting with 'unlimited' email accounts. And there's a 'webmail' interface or two I can use as well. (Like CPanel's 'webmail' - nothing fancy, but it's an option.) There's a limit of 50gb total with the account, but maybe I should start offering email services off this..haha
Anyone want [theirname]@notgmail.com? $5/mo!

So is it cross-contamination in all these animal products as well?

They're finding microplastics EVERYWHERE. We're eating and breathing them daily. Should be no surprise to find them in the human body.

Attached to: Exercise is as Effective as Medication in Treating Depression, Study Finds
1 - are people on drugs 'not depressed'? Odds are they'd be a LOT worse off if they stopped exercising. More might help more, that varies.
2 - it shouldn't wear off. If you don't push yourself, the benefits will not be as great. Say you have a lifting routine, and do exactly the same thing, without increase the weights, for weeks or months. That would start to stagnate, and probably have less of a benefit. (Still better than nothing.) Increasing the weight, along with seeing gains and seeing progression in yourself, will probably persist in staving off depression, or at least the worst of it.
