●Born and raised feet from the cool waters of the eastern Pacific ocean and lived nearby for 53 years. Enjoyed all things ocean aquatic. From '98 to '08, lived in the central US with dust and cattle. Now on the east coast to resume my aquatic life and have as much fun as possible until the end.
Retired firefighter and former student, Green Beret (A-245, Dak Seang), big ocean lifeguard and worked for the Velzy Surfboard Co when they had a small shop in San Diego.
BA in Anthropology (they changed it to a BS degree the year after I graduated. Bastards! ;) ), San Diego State University.
Debian GNU/Linux user for 15 years and have taught myself the basics of C, Perl and Python so that I might have a general idea of what is going on.
I enjoy the great outdoors, reading, science and working on mechanical things.
