Are you also planning on getting theater releases of films? Cause otherwise you're not going to get 8k. There's literally zero "cinematic" quality content available in 8k for the consumer market.
No one wants this shit. Absolutely no one. It's not going to take off and you're smoking some good drugs if you think it is.

My guess would be that it's much harder to tell who's winning in Go. Chess gives you clearer feedback.

Was Michigan even competing for that one?
I feel like apple cider and cherry pie are the events Michigan would enter.

Tens of millions of dollars to cause some discomfort in your enemy and occasionally get one of them to quit?
Doesn't seem like an effective use of spending for Russia or Cuba.

All the schools I knew of in the 90s were teaching Pascal, because that was the language for the AP Computer Science exam up until 98.

What does that mean to you? That we spend our tax revenue and continue going further into debt? That we do interest only payments and continue to use debt as a driver for inflation? Or that we pay down the existing debt?

It took them long enough. The app is infuriating when using Chromecast because shirts can't be cast and they will disconnect you from casting if you try to play them.
Once you've clicked on the short, it completely forgets everything you were queued to watch. That playlist you put together over the last 20 minutes of browsing? Gone.

Well, presumably your IT admins would make the appropriate decisions and configuration for your industry and local laws.

What law(s) make this illegal?
It might be illegal for you as - say - a medical professional to use such a machine to do your work, but I don't understand how it would be illegal for MS to perform cloud backups.
You accept an EULA for this sort of thing, I'm sure, but I'm skeptical it would be illegal anyway. Copyright infringement maybe? But probably not because it's not being copied for commercial use. Backups are considered fair use. If your OS vendor does backups for you, I find it unlikely that would trigger infringement.

In professional settings, you are expected to be running Windows Pro with a domain account and have OneDrive completely disabled.

I graduated from an American high school in 1998. I definitely had to read full novels. Even in some classes you might not expect, like world history.

It would have to be Mutter or Weston, but I'm not sure which. I also am not sure, focus follows mouse maybe involved. And I think it happens when switching from an X app to a Wayland app.
It's not a consistent thing though. It's hard to reproduce. It just sometimes happens as I'm using the system.
It's been like a year since I tried Wayland last, so I'm a bit fuzzy on details.

My problem isn't exactly as the previous guys but its quite similar. There seems to be a delay in focus switching. So, when I Alt-Tab, I expect to be able to immediately start typing into the new window, but under Wayland, there's a momentary delay where input is still going to the old window. It's no longer a sequence of keystrokes that get processed in logical order, but some non-deterministic handling of keystrokes where system load impacts the sequence of events.
