Idk about that. I think people would really appreciate ultra fast EV charging options that let them get in and out in 5 minutes.

The Chinese are insanely fast at prototyping and commercialization. If Western companies slow roll things out they’ll be passed by quickly.

Chevy equinox ev is $35k and 2026 Nissan leaf is $30k. A lot of slashdotters seem to live years behind the times.

The LCOE of solar accounts for capacity and is lower than any other power source, even natural gas. Battery prices have dropped like an anvil year after year.

Why would you need 4 battery powered tractors to replace 1 diesel? Are you mad? Farm equipment is a perfect situation for EVs because of the low speeds and repetitive start and stop nature.

What? Lithium phosphate has dropped below $100/kwh, they’re insanely cheap now compared to even a few years ago.

Chevy equinox ev is $35000, the new Nissan leaf is $30000. That’s too expensive? The average new US gas car is $50k.

Prices of batteries has dropped like an anvil especially the last 3-4 years. I’ve seen 75-80% drops in lithium phosphate prices. They fell below the magical $100/kWh threshold.
