Since a one hour time change is deadly, what are the effects for people that travel for recreation or employment?
Going to from the east coast to California, or Hawaii? Texas to Europe, or NYC? Seattle to Bermuda? Europe? Asia? etc. How many people are more likely to die because they travelled to another time zone?

I will never recommend another HP printer, and haven't for years...
I love my Epson EcoTank printer. No cartridges, thousands of pages per ink bottle. It prints and scans and then gets out of my way. I was able to set it up without an online account, using my phone, subscriptions, or any other "modern" setup techniques. It just works.

They could... after requiring a personal finance class. Too many people lack the skill to properly manage their own finances.

In February Joe Biden said that if Russia invaded Ukraine, we would bring an end to the pipeline.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
That part is at 1:20 into the video.
Biden: "If Russia invades, that means tanks or troops crossing the border of Ukraine, again, then uh, there will be, uh we, uh there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it"
Reporter: "How will you, how will you do that, exactly, since the project and control of the project is within Germany's controls?"
Biden: "We will uh, I promise you we will be able to do it.

I know that a lot of music is streamed... but I do miss the radio stations we used to have.
When I was a kid, is was not uncommon (1980's-1990's) to hear new music from all of these on the radio - on the same station. AC/DC, Beastie Boys, Madonna, Def Leppard, Marvin Gay, Journey, Van Halen, Michael Jackson, Dolly Parton, The Police, Judas Priest, Boys2Men, Springsteen, The Scorpions, Prince, Queen, Garth Brooks, Run D.M.C, Tom Petty, Bon Jovi, U2, TLC, and so much more.
Just look at the top songs for any year. You could listen to all of them on a single radio station and its wide ranging "any song any time" type playlist. It was a great way to be exposed to a wide range of music.
(I remember going into a Tower Music store to buy something, and I didn't know what... I left with KISS (Greatest KISS) and Mozart (Mozart for Morning Coffee). Like I said, a wide range of music.)

How long until Fauci says that we need four masks?
He started with "you don't need one", then said 1, and then advises 2, to really 1, to you could wear 3, to 1 is best.
I see a four mask recommendation in his future.
---
A SARS-Covid-19 particle size is 0.12 microns
A typical aerosol droplet from our breath, containing a Covid-19 virus particle, is 62 microns. Larger size droplets will fall to the ground sooner, the few smaller ones will float in the air longer.
N95 mask = 0.3 micron certification with 95% efficiency. Possible protection to 0.1 micron.
Disposable surgical masks have a pore size near 80 microns. Cloth masks have pore sizes from 250 to 500 microns, with bandanas, neck gaiters and other options with a potentially larger pore size. The aerosolized Covid-19 particle can pass through the masks. They may serve no functional purpose.
I have heard wearing a non-N95 mask to stop Covid-19 is like making a window screen out of a chain link fence. The flies and mosquitos fly right through it.Do the non-N95 masks people typically wear do any good? (Other than keeping fingers away from mouths, noses, and eyes)

Remember, there are essential fats and proteins but zero essential sugars.
I switched to my own diet, I call "halfkins". Basically I eliminated all processed sugars, along with bread, pasta, potatoes and rice. I don't count or measure anything.
It is similar to high protein low sugar Atkins and high fat low sugar Keto. Just some of both. I have lost a lot of weight without any work or going hungry. I eat meat, eggs, some dairy, nuts, vegetables and fruit.
My doctor is happy, my blood work is happy, and I am happy. Less body weight and lower blood pressure. Win Win.

Today, we either get the malware infested chaos of Android, or the closed garden of Apple. We used to have choices...
Before I picked up my current phone, I looked at a (slightly used) Nokia 808 Pureview. I wanted decent sized screen, a phone, messaging, and a great camera with flash, and with the ability to get info from/to my computer. A decent browser would be nice to use in place of some apps (in the case of the 808). That was pretty much it.
In the end, even the Carl Zeiss lens with a 41 megapixel camera could not get me to leave the current hardware.
I might not have the perfect phone for me, but it works, can be fixed, is up to date for security and can get info to/from my computer. Just because the phone has additional functionality, doesn't mean I have to use it.

Attached to: More Young People Are Becoming Farmers
I work in the tech industry. I live on a farm.
We do not have a sprawling farms with hundreds of acres. Our farm is less than five acres. We have two homes, a barn, a shop and cross pastured land. We use the land to raise our own meat. We raise dairy and meat goats and cows, chickens, turkeys, hogs, sheep and lamb. We like to say that our animals were conceived here, born here, raised here, died here, and were processed here.
We know exactly what is in our meat. Mothers milk, hay, grass, alfalfa, corn, oats, peas, wheat, rye, barley and a few treats like salted peanuts and apples. They also get, do to the naturally low levels in our soil, a magnesium supplement. That is it.
We have friends who grow the hay and grains we get, some who raise veggies (we only raise a few items). The barter system goes a long way.
Why do we do it? I find myself looking at the paragraph above, "We know exactly what is in our meat." Do you? After we process an animal, they are kept in one of our six freezers. Have some for us and some we barter/sell from. When they are not used, they are unplugged.
...Also, running a small farm, our only "equipment" is a pickup, a four horse stock trailer, and a bobcat loader with two attachments. The cost of entry is not too bad.
Try it, you may like it.

●Normal computer geek. DB person, not much of a coder. I admit to being an OS junkie...currently using Ubuntu, Mint and OS X. Ran all from DOS, Win 3.x to Win9x, 2K, XP, Win7, Win10 etc., BeOS, Mandrake, Red Hat, Mint, Debian, SUSE, Slackware, and others to end up back on Ubuntu that I started using with 4.10. I live on a farm and raise much of my own food. If you have a chance, buy a Wagyu steak - and cut/eat it with your spoon! Life is good...
