Yes absolutely. It's not just GAB. There are a bunch of censorship free platforms that are for one, seeing themselves as being on the same chopping block and two, all of them combined is non-trivial. Further, it is not just the businesses in question and there direct need tied to such services for their profitability, there is a hoard of users getting sick of this shit. It is the perfect time for alternatives to rise up and take a shot. Said companies are probably discussing among themselves starting competing services. A few years down the road and those services will be widely known. What we are seeing is innovation in action. Take notes while everything unfolds over the next few years.

No worries, the Giant Tech companies are not responsible for what people say on their platforms. Really this is good news. Gab itself was an innovative reaction to increasing censorship. For that matter BitChute and a few others. So fuck PayPal and Stripe. This will result in competition for them. When you shut something that large out, customers are already waiting.

Attached to: Chromebooks Don't Suffer From Bad User Experiences Found on Windows and Mac Computers, Google Says
All I saw in that video was a bunch of no longer applicable OS shit memes. The video provided no compelling marketing. I saw nothing of interest. What was presented looked like a social media consuming toy version of a computer. I am on a Windows 10 machine with an ancient FX 8350 and 16 gigs or ram. I wait for nothing except perhaps for compressing and decompressing multi gigabyte directory structures. I have Linux on an old i5 laptop and it is as fast as it can be. For android I have an S8+. For my serious computing needs I really do need 3 machines for my work, expect for the Android. Half the time my SIM card is in an old BlackBerry Classic because it suits all my mobile needs.
Why would I want this? That is what the video should have covered.

Back then I was playing with every distro I could get my hands on in the backs of magazines. Caldera, Turbo, etc.. Although with then I moved up to a Cyrix P90 or something.

I remember my first Linux install. It was Slackware ages ago on a 486 DX50. I stayed loyal to Slackware for a very long time. Perhaps it is time to take another look.

The Jovian system is all around fascinating. With all of the moons and Jupiter's large EM field, it's a great future destination for humanity. Build a few thousand (big) rotating habitats over a couple centuries and all-in-all I could see the Jovian system supporting more human life than currently exists on Earth. Well, at least in the far future (if we have one). Especially with the asteroid belt being between Mars and Jupiter. Not that it would be easy.

It's fucked. However, as someone who sells on the platform and therefor spends a lot time there, it goes down more often then most people realize. Lots of reasons to expect they are using some super ancient code. The platform is all around not impressive.

As long as it is not ad subsidized. I got so sick on tired of the over complexity of my S8+, I recently started using an BB Classic. I still use my S8+ for product photography, and while I expect this phone to have a not so hot camera, I'll invest in a "real" camera if I have to. I need:
Dual factor
navigation
Basic web browsing
Decent email and txt apps
A simple, straight forward, no clutter interface
That is getting close to about it.

Have you tried an osmotic laxative consumed (entire thing) over the course of 3 hours along with a couple gallons of power aid or similar? I also have Chron's Disease and I had to take this last time I had an (emergency) colonoscopy. Something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Basic-C...
Be warned, it will shuttle every last bit of fluid you consume with it directly into your colon.
