Is it not just a device to display the image rendered on the cloud server?
The hardware requirements are much more low end compared to a console or pc - isnt this why these streaming clients can run on phones? Anything with hardware accelerated streaming video playback support is capable of playing these cloud games.

i thought american's had a particularly strong aversion to that word? if submitter is a fellow aussie or pom, it's probably just a nickname of endearment used by his closest friends.

I've had one bad update with ubuntu that somehow got rid of my DE (budgie), but that was about 3 years ago with ubuntu 18.04. since that time its been pretty rock solid, although I have not done a distro upgrade on it but rather a clean install of 20.04.

As someone who uses Windows as a development environment - I hate it and still just use cmd if I need to use Windows commands. Its a shame they didn't mimic the *nix commands so we'd have consistency even if bash is an abomination.
are you talking about command names? because there are aliases for common *nix commands in powershell.
`get-content` is aliased to cat, `invoke-webrequest` is aliased to curl, `get-childitem` is aliased to ls - these are a few examples i can think of off the top of my head.

If it does the job it is intended to do, does it matter what it's made from?
this may be some sort of low cost design, made to be quickly put together and disposable, using off the shelf parts for the imaging?

Attached to: Study of 61,000 Microsoft Employees Finds Remote Work Threatened Productivity and Innovation
"Based on previous research, we believe that the shift to less 'rich' communication media may have made it more difficult for workers to convey and process complex information," the Microsoft researchers write.
'believe' and 'may' seem to be biased interpretations of whatever their data showed

Are already dotnet shops - everyone else has been using AWS or GCP for their AI/ML capability.
Are there startups who are not dotnet shops, using Azure?
Similar story with Windows - those who arent already in the Microsoft Windows ecosystem tend to use Macs - is it only home users who care about Windows 11 or are there corporate features in the new version?
