This will no doubt make it easy for fraudsters to compose junk science papers.
Just give its AI a prompt such as: "Write a science paper about how seed oils are bad for my health."
It will quickly produce a fake paper with references that will appear legit at some level of inspection.

Humans (homo sapiens) are late arrivals who inherited almost everything from earlier hominids and from lots of other animals who learned to use tools millions of years ago.

mspohr writes: /i When Sir Tim Berners-Lee invented the world wide web in 1989, his vision was clear: it would used by everyone, filled with everything and, crucially, it would be free.
Today, the British computer scientist’s creation is regularly used by 5.5 billion people – and bears little resemblance to the democratic force for humanity he intended.
Since Berners-Lee’s disappointment a decade ago, he’s thrown everything at a project that completely shifts the way data is held on the web, known as the Solid (social linked data) protocol. It’s activism that is rooted in people power – not unlike the first years of the web.
This version of the internet would turbocharge personal sovereignty and give control back to users.
Berners-Lee has long seen AI – which exists only because of the web and its data – as having the potential to transform society far beyond the boundaries of self-interested companies. But now is the time, he says, to put guardrails in place so that AI remains a force for good – and he’s afraid the chance may pass humankind by.

And free software would be free to copy and distribute all of that proprietary software.

They are planning:
Native Linux distributions (e.g. Ubuntu Touch, Ubuntu, Debian, Yocto Linux and others)
We’re working directly with Linux integrators and chipset partners to ensure proper mainline Linux support, rather than one-off ports that break over time. The intent is long-term OS viability, even beyond the lifecycle of any single operating system or company.

Bingo!
The GPL uses copyright law to preserve the right to share and prevent people from locking up free software behind paywalls.
If there was no copyright law, the GPL wouldn't be necessary.

Solar, wind and batteries are much cheaper and more reliable than big power plants.

We already know that pitch is slow. Are the experimenters also slow?

This points to the stupidity of these AI companies.
Instead on installing the cheapest form of energy (solar, wind, batteries), they are doing stupid things like opening coal, gas, and nuclear plants.
Or... are they just looking for subsidies from the government taxpayers and ratepayers?

It looks like Ukraine has become the world leader in AI/Robotic/Drone warfare technology.
They didn't ask for this role and would surely have like to have avoided it but since they're in this mess, they seem to be making the best of it.

I just watched the latest movie from Damon on Netflix.
No phone to help me understand the plot.
Just a dumb movie with a confused plot and random surprise twists and turns which only served to confuse things further.
I'm still not sure what the movie was about and I'm surely not going to waste time looking it up.
